Good for family
Ocean Beach restricted access controlled by the Brazilian army. It is within the Fort Imbuí in Jurujuba neighborhood where you can have a beautiful view of Sugar Loaf. Being well off the Guanabara Bay its waters are generally clean and greenish, but sometimes may be unsuitable for bathing. Widely used on weekends by people who are authorized and the military families, who enjoy to have a good swim and get some sun on its white and fine sand. In its surroundings there are some coconut trees, almond trees and casuarina trees that provide a pleasant shade on sunny days. Fort Imbuí
