The water is not too crowded to swim because of the strong and choppy waves, but this feature attracts surfers to the site. The vacation homes are very close to the beach separated only by a narrow street. Fisherman's Beach is located between the Cabras Island, which can be visited during low tide, and the Morro do Sapucaitava, peppered local trees.
